Today's prompt is do we prefer to shop online or use a bricks and mortar shop.
Well as a web shop owner www.soapsandmore.co.uk and an avid online buyer off create and craft you'd think it would be online,BUT I love to shop at HG arts and crafts and at craft shows the Nec etc and to take my makes along to craft fairs where I love to meet real people and hopefully soon will be able to share more at craft parties with craft superstore at home.I'd love to own a craft shop where I would sell Handmade goodies as well as offer demo's and classes along with a good selection of crafting goodies (including the fab Docrafts range)
Talking of craft fairs we have our first fair of the season on June 4th Bank Holiday Monday at Four Oaks Direct Garden Centre Farm Lane Lower Withington Macclesfield (near Jodrell Bank), who hold several event's through out the year and it's all indoors if the glorious weather we're having at the moment doesn't last.
So why not pop along and see us

My Favourite Craft Shop
My favourite craft shop has to be HG arts and craft at Brookside garden centre Poyton Stockport,It's not a large shop tho they have just moved to larger premises with in the garden centre, they offer a varied range of arts and crafts stuff (with a large amount of Docrafts goodies in there).
The Staff are really friendly and always willing to help if they can,I love to go there for my creativity magazine and browse the new Docraft goodies have a chat with the staff and even catch the odd demo which often take place in the party room a short walk away from the craft shop.
If the staff can't HELP you normally find one of the customer is happy to advise.
Lovely people and a great place to stock up on Docrafts goodies

Joining couple of prompt's together
I'm getting a bit behind as I've been BUSY (the word I would use to describe me at the moment) got alot of stuff to sort ready for some fairs I've got coming up I want to make more cards, soaps and the list goes on.
Then what am I thankful for well another reason I'm Busy after doing the prompt and checking out other peoples blogs showing their craft rooms I did moan that I didn't really have any where I could leave things set up to work on and once I got stuff out it was always time to pack up so we could use the table for our evening meal. My other half has let me take over an area of the house and bought me a large desk and lots of storage (another IKEA trip lol) So I'm really thankful for That and my wonderful other half.
And as for colour it has to be BLUE in case you didn't know lol

SPRING CLEAN
Today's blog prompt is to write about spring cleaning.
So before I start I will say I'm having a spring clean on the WEBSITE and having a 15% sale on packing items including shrink wrap so please take a look.
Now back to the prompt......
I'm at present trying to spring clean the house and make a little more room (so I can Craft lol) so another trip to Ikea was in order for plastic boxes one of which was to put My favourite cleaning item in A STEAMER as the last one was in the shed out of the box and some little visitors came in and chewed the piping on it (the visitors chewed nothing else ) so now it will have it's own plastic box, I can't manage with out my steamer as I clean the oven, tiles sink and the laminate floors with it plus freshen up the sofa and beds I know it leaves things really clean. Any way we're moving things around to try and fit some where in for me to craft so I don't have to keep putting things away .
So I must get on

A Day In The Life ..........
I laughed when I saw the name for this prompt
As the last two days have been a whirl wind of craziness which is nothing unusual in my life the day normally gets off to a slow start I get up get everyone else up and off to work week days then get my self sorted and out the door.I work part time and am normally finished for 1.30pm by which time I'm struggling walking as I suffer with Fibromyaglia which affects the muscles and soft tissues symptoms include chronic pain and severe fatigue.I work in a bakery as a shop assistant and am on my feet all the time.
I get home and have to start the housework because if I sit down I won't get up again.
I'm then normally to tired to do anything even craft tho I do try.
The last 2 days tho have been fill with craziness coz Of my favourite football team MANCHESTER CITY!!
Premier League Champions at last !!!
Just had to get this in sorry

Storage space
Todays blog prompt is about Storage
Well we have lots of storage facilities but it still isn't enough we have 2 sheds and a greenhouse none of which are very big but they house the usual garden equipment, and our camping stuff, I have my shed which houses some of my craft stuff.
The house isn't very big and we've had to find storage solution that both look good and will house plenty of stuff (especially as I have so much craft stash) IKEA always seem to come to the fore here.
Every few weeks I reorganise things and make a little more room but it soon gets filled up
Happy Crafting
